You are your Best Judge!!!

Once upon a time, a young painter had just completed his course. He spent three days creating a magnificent landscape painting.

Eager for validation, he placed his creation at a busy street crossing with a sign: "I am new to this profession and may have made mistakes. Please put a cross (X) wherever you see a flaw."

When he returned that evening, his heart sank. The entire canvas was ruined covered in crosses and critical comments. Shattered, he rushed to his old master, bursting into tears.

"I'm useless," he sobbed. "People have completely rejected me. I should quit painting."

The master smiled calmly. "My son, I will prove you are a great artist. Do exactly as I say."

Two days later, the young artist reluctantly presented a perfect replica of the original painting to his master.

"Come with me," the master instructed.

They displayed the new painting at the same street crossing. Below it, the master placed a different sign, along with a box of brushes and paints. The new sign read: "Gentlemen, if you see a mistake in this piece, kindly pick up a brush and correct it."

The master and disciple returned home. When they visited the spot that evening, and again the next day, the young painter was stunned. The painting remained completely untouched. It is said the artwork stood there for a month, yet no one made a single correction.

💡 The Moral of the Story

It is infinitely easier to criticize than it is to create or improve.

Don't let the unsolicited judgment of others carry you away. You are your own best judge.!
