Personifying “Love All, Serve All” : On a hot Amdavadi afternoon, when the roads were as deserted as they could be, the Sabarmati Ashram was buzzing with visitors. There were school kids, a group of old ladies and some foreigners taking a stroll around the ashram, mainly in the museum – “Gandhi Smarak Sangrahalay”. While I was roaming around, my phone rang – “Hello” – “Hello, I am standing opposite to the Ashram” – “Will be there in 5 minutes”. There once was a farmer who discovered that he had lost his watch in the  barn. It was no ordinary watch because it had sentimental value for him.  After searching high and low among the hay for a long while; he gave up and  enlisted the help of a group of children playing outside the barn. This incident is about a Gujarati person named Kanjibhai. Long long time ago, before he got married, he was travelling from Ahmadabad to Bombay by train. Rupaben was also travelling in the same compartment except that they both didn't know each other in the beginning. Once they started talking, they realized they both had a lot in common.
